    Donna,

we are not in any way associated with any spyware, the aim of this blog is to help people get rid of spyware.
you can delete it manually, as you can get a reputable anti-spyware to delete it for you.

I hope I clarified your confusion.

Hi. My computor has fallen victim to antivirus 2009. I cannot seem to get rid of it. It pops up taking over 2/3 of my screen. How do I get rid of it? PLEASE HELP

  13. Sarah Says:

    Debbie,

    You have two options,

    ** Option #1 (FREE) :
if you have a little good computer skills, you can do a manual removal, see here for Antivirus 2009 Removal Instructions

    ** Option #2 :
you can get a reputable anti-spyware that will remove “antivirus2009″ for you.
Here I recommend XoftSpySE (from Paretologic Inc) because it is extremely easy to use and powerful,
PLUS, their database is updated twice a week to maximize the effectiveness of
spyware detection and removal. And most importantly, their customer support is great.

    Hope I Helped

Please remove antivirusxp2008 from my computer. I have already Mcafee antivirus I don’t need duplicate antivirus security removal.

  16. Sarah Says:

    Marina,

we have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with antivirusxp2008 !

“antivirusxp2008″ is a not a virus, it’s another form of parasite called spyware.
and you will need a reputable anti-spyware program to remove it for you, because an anti-virus program will not even detect it.

    Mike,

I authorized purchase of antivirus 2009. . . they then charged me for two other software programs. When discovered, I immediately went to their web site and cancelled the order, which they accepted. However, they charged me anyway. Then I discovered the malware component of the software. Despite contact by my bank, they have refused a refund.
That said, to whom do we file a complaint. I think we need their home address, which isn’t available that I’ve foun.

    thanx,
    Richard

I’ve reported antivirus 2009 to federal fraud protection, better business bureau and my internet company. My bank caught this and stopped payment.

  42. Laura Says:

Do you have to purchase the software – Xoftspy se?? If so what is the charge??
I have antivirus 2009 on my computer and it keeps shutting it down. I tried to manually remove it but it came right back the next day.

  43. Jessica Says:

HELP!!! Please help me take this pain (Antivirus 360) off my coumpter. What can I do???

  44. Jim Says:

I am like several other who have posted. It is possible to download and run the software, but in order for the software to delete the offending files, you have to have a license key. But in order to get that license key, you have to visit a link which is blocked by antivirus 2009. In other words, an email link to the license key we need DOES NOT WORK. I have the offending files captured but I cannot get rid of them (and the virus) unless someone emails me the license key – giving me a link to a webpage will not work.

  45. Simon Says:

I have an ‘Internet Antivirus Pro’ attached itself to my computer which is driving me mad and i haven’t got a clue what to do or who to trust, please advise.

  46. Charlie Says:

Hi, i cannot do the manual method because when i try to open task manager it says that the administrator has blocked it, since i am the only one that has been on this computer it must be antivirus 2009 any help would be much appreciated.

  47. Sarah Says:

    Charlie,
some spyware programs will make some changes to the system restrictions in order to hide itself from easy detection and also from easy cleaning.

Here’s a free tool called “Fixup Restrictions”, a free program that allows you to find and remove the registry restrictions

This application helps you to eliminate the restrictions caused by malware software and viruses from the registry, and detect the malware that cause those Restrictions.

    Download it here

  48. Debbie Says:

I have been invaded by a rogue malware called System Security. I have purchased this program and it is great but will not remove this malware. Help!.
