Are you supposed to delete all the winiit and shlwapi files, or just a specific one? I was only expecting to find one of each, but my search turned up numerous entries for both files

    Very helpful.
Like Simone I could not remove one .dll file.
I removed all others with no problem.
The single wininet.dll file I could not remove was in C:Windows/System32
I suspect that one is hard wired in the software and was the springboard for all the others that landed in servicepack, softwaredistribution and E:
BTW, one other tip…add a note about selecting the viewing option on search for ALL HIDDEN FILES as well. Additionally the found files can be deleted from the Search directory instead of an individual search and find then delete.

What if the computer will not let me delete the harmful files? It keeps saying access is denied
