Since it first appeared in December 2008, the infamous rogue Antivirus 360 is still ruining our computers . New variants are coming out on a daily basis.

Antivirus 360, Antivirus360, AV 360, AV360 or A360 all refer to the same rogue anti-spyware application that has only one purpose: first getting you to purchase it then use your credit card information to commit even more fraud.
Not to be confused with “Norton Antivirus 360″ (which is a legitimate software), Antivirus 360 is a fake antivirus program. it uses deceptive and aggressive advertising in order to scare you into purchasing it.
You are probably wondering how did you get it in the first place?
Most likely, when you were visiting a suspicious website or downloading a corrupt file from P2P network, your computer got infected with the Vundo Trojan. Then, from nowhere, a large amount of misleading pop-ups will invade your desktop, saying that your computer is infected by dangerous viruses or that your system might be at risk and that you should download Antivirus 360 to protect it. When you click on one these popups, Antivirus 360 will be downloaded and you will be forced to install it.
After automatically starting itself and scanning your system, Antivirus 360 will list several infections that will not be removed unless you buy the software. These infections are legitimate or nonexistent files. Actually, they are necessary Windows files and your system will not work without them.
When Antivirus 360 is running, fake security alerts will constantly popup stating that your computer is vulnerable and needs an antivirus such as Antivirus 360. Below is a screenshot of one of these false security alerts:

With all these fake detected files and security alerts, Antivirus 360 is scaring you into thinking that your system is infected while it is the actual infection. So, just ignore all these false security alerts and follow these free removal instructions to get rid of Antivirus 360.

We had installed the Anti-Virus 360 and with this help we were able to uninstall. We also purchased the AVG system.
Can you respond with a more formal notation as to the tremendous problems and the false claims of the Anti Virus 360 as I have to prove to Bank of America that the Anti Virus 360 is a hoax and then be able to have their charge to me of $99.90 for this eliminated from my credit card. They are looking for something on a business letterhead. Is this somethig you can provide to me via the internet and I can fax to Bank of America? Thank you.
i also purchased this product after it kept popping up on my screen getting me to buy it, i also tried to get it off my system, but at the time i did have a new hard drive put in my computer and everything had to be rebooted so it was like a new computer i thought it was part of the new setup for the computer so i bought it last month. and a few days ago disapeared off my computer, so i checked my credit card statements online and found not did they take £57 on the day i purchased the a360 a week later they had took out another £14 and then yesterday i found my credit card details were used to buy a meal for £38 in china china restaurant in cardiff i live 20 miles from cardiff it was on a wednesday i was at my local swimming baths at the time. i cancelled my credt card yesterday and should hopefully get my money back. i have now got AVG 8.5 internet security cheapest found on ebay for 8.99 plus postage, it is more expensive if bought direct from avg .this is a good product as i had this before my computer broke down.
